Neil Newbon is a renowned performance capture and voice-over artist with over 14 years of experience in the gaming, television, and film industries. He has appeared in over 100 properties, showcasing his versatility and range as a performer.
Newbon's recent projects include starring as lead companion Astarion in Larian Studios' highly anticipated Dungeons and Dragons-based RPG Baldur's Gate 3, Isaac Johnson in Frontier Developments' Deliver Us Mars, Nicholai and Nemesis in Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, and lead Ape Bryn in Planet of the Apes: Last Frontier. This year, he can be seen portraying the talking Norg fish "Fibonacci" in Digital Extremes' latest Warframe update, Whispers In The Walls.
Newbon began his formal training at the National Youth Theatre, where he honed his craft alongside notable actors such as Daniel Craig, Daniel Day-Lewis, and Chiwetel Ejiofor. He went on to study Method Acting and other craft techniques at the renowned Giles Foreman Centre of Acting.
As a professional actor, voice artist, martial arts and combat/stunts professional, Newbon has worked on numerous projects, including games, television shows, and films. He is also a performance and action director, having recently completed his seventh game property, a AAA game still under NDA. His directing credits include Baldur's Gate 3, Deliver Us Mars, Total War: Three Kingdoms, and Borderlands 3 'So Happy Together' Trailer, as well as Secrets of Civilisation, for which he served as both action director and stunt coordinator.
Newbon is the founder of Performance Captured Productions, a company that specializes in directing, casting, and performance capture. He has personally mentored hundreds of students and emerging game talent worldwide over the last nine years through his Performance Captured Academy, which mentors new performers, game development artists, and directors for full performance in games.
