Nic Prior, a remarkably talented actor and performance artist, has been meticulously refining their artistic abilities since a remarkably early age at the prestigious California Institute of the Arts (CalArts),a renowned institution of higher learning located in the vibrant city of Los Angeles.
As a multi-faceted artist, their creative odyssey has been significantly influenced by a vast array of performance methodologies, encompassing contemporary and devised performance practices, the Suzuki Actor Training technique, Viewpoints, Absurdist Theatre, the epic theatricality of Bertolt Brecht, the works of William Shakespeare, and the avant-garde, expressive dance-theatre of Butoh.
With a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting as their academic goal, they are currently enrolled at the prestigious California Institute of the Arts (CalArts),with an anticipated graduation date set for 2020.
Nic has had the distinction of participating in a diverse array of theatrical productions across both Australia and the United States, showcasing their impressive range and versatility as a performer.
Nic has had the privilege of collaborating with the globally acclaimed theatre ensemble, Gob Squad, on the West Coast debut of their groundbreaking production "Creation (Pictures for Dorian)" at the esteemed REDCAT.
