He was born in the vibrant city of Sheffield, located in the north of England, where he was raised by his loving parents, Joan and Peter Hamnett.
Throughout his early years, he spent a significant amount of time honing his artistic skills, often devoting himself to drawing and sketching, which would later become a defining aspect of his creative personality.
Although he didn't always take his studies as seriously as he should have, he eventually found his footing and went on to earn A-levels and a degree in Literature, a testament to his dedication and perseverance.
His academic pursuits led him to embark on a fulfilling career as a lecturer of Literature, where he had the opportunity to share his passion with students in various parts of the world. He taught in Istanbul, Turkey, and also in Koblenz, Germany, Ciudad Real, Spain, and even had the chance to share his expertise in New York.
In addition to his professional pursuits, he has a deep appreciation for the written word and is an avid reader. He is also a talented musician, often picking up his guitar to express himself creatively.
As for his personal life, he still enjoys the occasional cigarette, a habit that has become a part of his relaxed and laid-back demeanor.
