Nick embarked on a profound artistic odyssey, characterized by a four-year intensive exploration at the prestigious Actors Studio in North Vancouver, where he made a concerted effort to refine his craft through unwavering dedication. For a considerable period of time, he was fortunate enough to be mentored by the highly respected Michele Lonsdale-Smyth, a renowned instructor at the prestigious Lyric Studios.
Under her tutelage, Nick had the opportunity to refine his craft and develop his artistic abilities. Moreover, he was later able to further hone his skills with the expertise of Ben Ratner and Andrew McIlroy, two additional industry professionals who have made significant contributions to their respective fields.
Nick's foray into the realm of directorial endeavors commenced in 2009 with the theatrical production of Looking for Bill, thereby inaugurating a successful and prolific career behind the camera. This significant milestone was swiftly followed by the co-founding of East Van Entertainment, a dynamic and innovative company dedicated to nurturing and showcasing local talent through a diverse array of independent features, theatre productions, and web-based content. As a co-producer, Nick is currently actively involved in the development and creation of East Van Entertainment's inaugural web-series, The Drive Series, a poignant and thought-provoking coming-of-age story that delves into the complex and often tumultuous lives of five roommates as they navigate the various challenges and triumphs that come with living on Vancouver's iconic Commercial Drive.
