Nicholas Mark Grist, a renowned British former rally co-driver hailing from Wales, specifically Ebbw Vale, embarked on a illustrious factory team career in the World Rally Championship, spanning an impressive 9-year period from 1993 to 2002.

Throughout his remarkable career, Grist achieved an impressive feat of winning 21 rallies alongside multiple drivers. His first WRC victory was a notable achievement, as he partnered with the esteemed Juha Kankkunen, a three-time WRC champion at the time, to claim the Rally Argentina in 1993.

Grist's partnership with Kankkunen proved to be a highly successful one, as they went on to win the 1993 WRC championship together with Toyota. Grist remained Kankkunen's trusted co-driver until 1997, when he joined forces with the talented Colin McRae, piloting the 555 Subaru World Rally Team.
