In the early stages of his career, Santiago Saravia was a drummer for a band he formed with his classmates Martín Rodríguez, Juan Dos Santos Falcon, Valeria Aquino, and Johana Borobiov. During this time, he also gained experience by participating in television advertising, all while completing his bachelor's degree in architecture orientation.
Santiago's passion for acting led him to attend several acting workshops, which ultimately led him to enroll in the Ricardo Beiro Actor School in Uruguay in 2006. He graduated in 2008 and soon after, he landed a role in the feature film Masangeles, a co-production between Argentina and Uruguay.
In 2011, Santiago made his television debut in the TV series Battered, playing the character of Emiliano. The same year, he appeared in the series Because I Love You So, where he played the role of Ciro Schiaretti, the son of Catherine Fulop's character. He also starred in the series Dance of Channel 10 in Uruguay.
The following year, Santiago met one of the producers of Dulce amor, which led to him emigrating to Argentina to participate in the novel between 2012 and 2013. He joined the cast of the successful Argentine Tylenol, starring Sebastián Estevanez and Carina Zampini, where he played the role of Diego.
In 2012, Santiago was part of the cast of the second season of the Italian Tylenol Terra Ribelle, which was filmed in Argentina. He played the character of Angiolino. The same year, he appeared in the play "Dévidistas," playing the role of Luca.
In 2014, Santiago starred in the film Relocos re pasados, playing the role of Máximo. He also appeared in the series El Marginal on public TV Argentina and Netflix, playing the role of Diosito. At the moment, he is part of the main cast of Educating to Nina, which is transmitted by Telefe. Additionally, he signed a contract to participate in the new novel of Sebastian Ortega, Fanny la fan, also by Telefe, in 2017.
