Nicole's journey began after starring in the non-profit film "8 Days", which raised awareness about human trafficking. She embarked on a nationwide tour, visiting eight cities across America to spread the message. Her travels didn't stop there, as she ventured to Johannesburg, Durban, and Cape Town in South Africa, where she championed local anti-trafficking organizations and was later interviewed on Steve Harvey's show.
Her television appearances are numerous, having graced the screens of ABC, CBS, Cartoon Network, and Nickelodeon, with notable roles in "Criminal Minds" and "Brothers & Sisters". In addition to her on-screen work, Nicole has also honed her craft through formal education. In the summer of 2017, she received a certificate in Contemporary Drama from the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London, England.
Nicole's training has been diverse, encompassing both classical methods and those pioneered by renowned acting coaches George Morrison, Jack Waltzer, and Ivana Chubbuck. This well-rounded approach has informed her process as a casting director at Verve Casting, where she has successfully found the right performers for a wide range of projects since 2018.
Most recently, Nicole cast over 150 performers in the 8-episode revival of the cult classic "Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction", hosted by Jonathan Frakes. She also associate-produced season 5 and wrote an original story for the premiere. Her passion lies in telling stories that challenge viewers and raise important questions, often tackling complex topics that require a nuanced approach.
Nicole's production credits include top-tier commercials, music videos, and award-winning films, many of which have premiered at esteemed festivals such as the Palm Springs International Film Festival, Tribeca Film Festival, and the Cannes Short Film Corner. Her technical skills are extensive, with certifications in AVID Media Composer and proficiency in Movie Magic Budgeting/Scheduling, Final Cut Pro, Google Drive, and the Adobe Suite.
In 2023, Nicole took the leap and founded the full-service creative studio Smolder, dedicated to helping artists and makers bring their unique visions to life. With her extensive experience in the entertainment industry, Nicole is poised to make a significant impact in the world of creative storytelling.
