Nicholetta Rangoni Machiavelli's illustrious career in the film industry began with a notable role in Luigi Zampa's "Una questione d'onore" in 1965, which was later released in 1966. This marked the start of a long and successful journey for the talented actress.
Machiavelli's impressive repertoire includes films and sketches directed by some of the most renowned Italian and French filmmakers of her time. Her collaborations with notable directors such as Alberto Lattuada, Liliana Cavani, Carlo Lizzani, Dino Risi, Andrzej Zoulawski, and Georges Lautner further solidified her position as a prominent figure in the industry.
However, Machiavelli's career took a significant turn in 1978 when she became a Rajneeshee, a follower of the spiritual teacher Rajneesh, later known as Osho. After two more films, she decided to leave the industry and relocate to Rajnespuram in Wasco County, Oregon, USA.
In 1985, Machiavelli settled in Seattle, Washington, USA, where she pursued a new path as an interpreter and Italian language teacher at the University of Washington. She occasionally worked as a guide on inclusive tours in her home country.
Sadly, Nicholetta Rangoni Machiavelli passed away on November 15, 2015, in Seattle, Washington, USA, leaving behind a legacy of her remarkable contributions to the film industry and her dedication to her spiritual journey.
