Nikolai Ivanov Sotirov, a renowned Bulgarian actor, has made a lasting impact on the world of theater and cinema. Born on May 31, 1956, in Shumen, Bulgaria, he began his illustrious career after graduating from the National Academy for Theatre and Film Art in Sofia, Bulgaria in 1980.
Throughout the 1980s, Sotirov showcased his incredible talent by starring in numerous Bulgarian films, including unforgettable roles in "Adaptation," "Big Night Bathing," and "Combine." His exceptional performances earned him widespread recognition and acclaim.
In the early 1990s, Sotirov took a bold step by creating the dance-pantomime theater "Pandance," which received thunderous applause from Japan to Venezuela. This groundbreaking achievement led to his appointment as a lifetime honorary member of the prestigious "Teatro del Oriente" festival, the largest in Latin America.
As a versatile actor, Sotirov has participated in various plays at "Pandans," including "Faith and Heresy," "The Three Musketeers," and "Apocalypse or..." His impressive repertoire has garnered numerous accolades, including the prize for best mime at the Arezzo festival in 1984.
