Nitin S Adsul is a multi-talented individual, boasting an impressive array of skills as a producer, director, and writer. Born in India, Nitin's formative years were spent in Mumbai, before he ventured to Australia and Singapore, and eventually settled in the United States.
From a young age, Nitin demonstrated a keen interest in the arts, science, spiritual secrets, and filmmaking. His early passion project was the Indian Orchestra group for Marathi music, which he proposed in Singapore in 1997. With like-minded friends, the group was formed within the Marathi Indian Association of Singapore, and Nitin actively participated in the group's first year, overseeing various aspects, including artist gathering, musician coordination, and event preparation.
In 2005, Nitin co-founded the film production company 'EastWest Films' alongside his friends and American partners Clark Macmillan, Darrel Cox, and Rupesh Mahajan. The company's debut feature film, 'Prayer Life', was released in 2007 and received worldwide recognition, garnering the 'wysiwyg Christian Film Festival Jury Award' and the 'Redemptive Film Festival Storyteller Award'.
Nitin's spiritual pursuits began in 2007, when he started practicing yoga and meditation, and delved into researching the secrets of spiritual laws and universal energy. This newfound understanding inspired him to write, produce, and direct his debut documentary feature film, 'Kundalini: The Energy of Consciousness'. The film has won numerous accolades at film festivals worldwide.
By 2011, Nitin had established '7 Dots Media', a spiritual media company, and also became a certified personal life coach. He integrated his life coaching services with his unique meditation techniques to help individuals overcome emotional and physical challenges, and move forward in life.
In 2015, Nitin created the award-winning feature film 'Partu', which earned him the Filmfare award for Best Story. He also received the Director's Award for 'Partu' as Best Film at the 'Hidden Gems Film Festival' in Canada. The movie won the 'Best Film - Audience Choice' award at the 'DC South Asian Film Festival' and the 'Best Actor' award at the 'Pune International Film Festival'. 'Partu' received multiple nominations across categories, including acting, writing, film, and music.
Most recently, in 2020, Nitin created an episodic show documenting his filmmaker's journey, titled 'MyKundalini'.
