Olivia Burnette embarked on her acting career at the tender age of six, marking the beginning of her remarkable journey in the entertainment industry.
Her most notable early role was in the 1987 comedy classic Planes, Trains & Automobiles, where she shared the screen with comedy superstar Steve Martin.
After making several television appearances, Olivia landed the lead role in the down-home series The Torkelsons in 1991, playing the lovable and charming Dorothy Jane.
Olivia continued to hone her craft, taking on a few television movies before being cast in the 1995 western drama The Quick and the Dead, where she had the opportunity to work alongside esteemed actors such as Gene Hackman, Sharon Stone, and Russell Crowe.
Her big-screen presence was felt in John Schlesinger's 1996 film Eye for an Eye, where she played the role of Sally Field's daughter and was involved in a controversial scene with Kiefer Sutherland.
Determined to pursue a college degree, Olivia left Los Angeles to attend the prestigious New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, where she graduated with dual majors in Film and English.
Inspired by her academic experience, Olivia went on to adapt a novel into a screenplay, which is currently being shopped.
In recent years, Olivia has made appearances in the hit television shows CSI: NY, starring alongside Oscar-nominated Gary Sinise and Emmy-nominated Melina Kanakaredes, as well as NCIS, featuring Mark Harmon.
Her most recent feature film, Flourish, premiered at the world-renowned Cinequest Film Festival in 2006 and was also screened at the Cannes Film Market that same year. The film stars Jennifer Morrison and Jesse Spencer from the hit Fox drama House.
Olivia currently resides in Southern California with her husband, singer/songwriter/producer Julian Sakata, and her five-year-old stepson, Rain.
