Omar Leyva, a Mexican-American actor based in Los Angeles, California, embarked on his professional on-screen journey in 2006, following a foundation of stage experience. His remarkable ability to authentically portray a wide range of complex characters, including the most vulnerable, empathetic, and even incendiary antiheroes, clueless fools, and wise leaders, has resulted in an extensive body of work comprising over 80 film and television credits, spanning from independent productions to big-studio films, television dramas, sitcoms, dark comedies, horror movies, and everything in between.
Throughout his illustrious career, Leyva has received recognition for his outstanding performances, including a nomination for the Imagen Award for Best Supporting Actor for his work in HBO's "Icebox" in 2018.
