Omid Zader is a multifaceted American professional, born in Tehran, Iran, to an Iranian father and mother. At the age of 10, his parents made the life-changing decision to relocate to Holland in 1995, driven by a desire to provide a brighter future for their son and themselves. This new beginning lasted for four years until an opportunity arose for the family to relocate to the United States.
Settling in Los Angeles, Zader's parents were drawn to the city's significant Persian population, which would allow them to maintain a connection to their homeland. Zader's educational pursuits took him to California State University, Northridge, where he earned his bachelor's degree in Sociology in 2009.
During his college years, Zader's interest in stunt work began to take shape. He dedicated himself to extensive training, practicing various martial arts disciplines, including Muay Thai and Escrima, and honing his skills through rigorous training sessions four to five times a week. This physically demanding career path ultimately led him to discover his passion for acting.
To further develop his acting skills, Zader enrolled in acting classes and seminars, laying the groundwork for his future endeavors. His impressive resume boasts credits in films such as 3 Days to Kill, alongside Kevin Costner, as well as guest-starring roles on TV shows like Major Crimes, Grimm, and The Thundermans. Notably, he has accumulated over 100 credits as a stunt actor.
Today, Zader is the co-founder of Turbo Panda Productions, LLC, a Los Angeles-based production company, and its affiliated post-production company, Rocket Panda Post, based in Burbank, CA. Under his leadership, the company has amassed a diverse portfolio of producing credits on various films, TV shows, music videos, and pilots, including an episode of Sesame Street's live segments.
When not working on sets or in the office, Zader enjoys a range of outdoor activities, such as mountain biking, camping, and hiking. He has been an avid fan of Eminem since his teenage years and would love to collaborate with the renowned artist in any capacity.
