Orgil Makhaan, a talented individual, was born on July 27th, 1974, in the vibrant city of Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. He began his academic journey at the prestigious Russian-Mongolian Joint School, graduating in 1992. With a passion for languages, Orgil pursued a Bachelor's degree in German at the Mongolian University of Foreign Languages, a testament to his dedication to his craft.
After completing his degree, Orgil embarked on an international adventure, enrolling at the esteemed American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles, USA. This marked a significant milestone, as he became the first Mongolian to bridge the gap between the film industries of Mongolia and Hollywood. Following his time in the United States, Orgil returned to his hometown in 2001, eager to share his newfound expertise with the Mongolian film community.
As he began his acting career, Orgil quickly made a name for himself, taking on main and supporting roles in various films. His impressive repertoire soon expanded to include work as a producer for both international and local productions, TV programs, and shows. This multifaceted approach to his profession allowed him to hone his skills and build a reputation as a versatile and talented individual.
In recent years, Orgil has worked on several high-profile projects, including Asia's Got Talent (2015),where he served as the Mongolian Producer for the finalist ethnic band Khusugtun. He also worked as the Mongolian Service Producer for Netflix's critically acclaimed series Marco Polo (2014-2016). Today, Orgil continues to excel as an actor, producer, and advisor, serving as the President's Adviser on Film.
