Biography

Pablo Márquez is a renowned Ecuadorian professional wrestler, whose illustrious career has spanned multiple decades. Born with a passion for the sport, he has made a name for himself in the United States, particularly in the 1990s.

Márquez's early years in professional wrestling saw him donning various personas, including El Puerto Riqueño and Ubas, as he wrestled for Extreme Championship Wrestling. His stint with ECW was marked by a series of memorable matches, including a notable encounter with Taka Michinoku.

In 1997, Márquez made his way to the World Wrestling Federation, where he initially worked as a non-wrestling personality, serving as the manservant to Tiger Ali Singh. However, he did make appearances in the ring, including a televised match against Al Snow, which ultimately ended in defeat.

Following his release from the WWF, Márquez went on to work for a variety of wrestling promotions, including the Mid-Eastern Wrestling Federation, where he claimed victory over Bodacious Pretty Boy in Baltimore, Maryland. He also returned to ECW, appearing on their TV shows and competing against notable opponents like Yoshihiro Tajiri and Super Calo.

In addition to his work in ECW, Márquez also wrestled for Jersey All Pro Wrestling, where he was part of a group known as The "New Freebirds" with Don Montoya and Reckless Youth. He later worked for the World Wrestling Council in Puerto Rico, where he won the World Junior Heavyweight Championship a total of three times.

In the mid-2000s, Márquez began teaching at the Main Event Training Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, while continuing to wrestle. His teaching career has seen him work with numerous students, including those at the Bodyslam University training facility.

Márquez's most recent endeavors have seen him involved in a kayfabe fight confrontation between Cash Money Alex G and several female graduates of the Bodyslam University training program. When Alex G attacked the women, Márquez defended them, offering to train them himself. He also challenged Alex G to a match, which he ultimately won.

In addition to his wrestling and teaching pursuits, Márquez has also worked as a referee, most notably for The Ultimate Warrior vs. Orlando Jordan match in NWE Spain in 2008.
