Paloma McLardy, born Paloma Romero on December 26, 1954, is a multifaceted Spanish musician, renowned for her exceptional drumming and songwriting skills.
She first gained recognition as a member of several influential early punk bands, one of which was the Slits, which she co-founded towards the end of 1976. Palmolive remained with the Slits until 1978, when she decided to pursue new musical endeavors.
Subsequent to her departure from the Slits, Palmolive joined the Raincoats, a renowned punk band, and contributed to the recording of their debut album, "The Raincoats".
In addition to her impressive musical career, Palmolive has also made appearances in various documentaries, including the critically acclaimed "Here to Be Heard: The Story of the Slits" and the 2019 Epix documentary series "Punk", which provided a comprehensive look into the punk rock movement.
