Pamela Shaw is a true Manhattanite, born and bred in the city that never sleeps. Her impressive filmography includes appearances in "Good Guy With A Pun" directed by Dmitry Milkin, the critically acclaimed short film "Indigo Lake" which was shortlisted for the AACTA Award for Best Supporting Actress in 2018, and the Cyprus Film Festival winner "Lucky Stiff" directed by Christopher Ashley, where she took home the award for Best Actress in 2017. She has also appeared alongside Pierce Brosnan in "Salvation Boulevard" and in the SXSW 2017 film "Splinterheads".
On the stage, Pamela has had a wide range of roles, including originating the part of Peg in Tennessee Williams' final play "In Masks Outrageous And Austere" alongside Shirley Knight at the Culture Project. Other notable stage credits include "A Fable" with David Van Asselt and Elizabeth Swados, "Five Plays About Life and Death" at the 59E59 Theaters, and "SCARCITY" at Rattlestick, which earned her an OBIE Award in 2017. She has also appeared in regional productions such as "Daddy Issues" at the LATC, "Laughing Wild" at the S.F. Mason Theatre, and stage musicals like "Lucky Stiff" in Melbourne and "The Gig" in LA, where she originated the role of Ricki Valentine.
In addition to her film and stage work, Pamela has also written and created her own solo shows, cabarets, and concerts. Her latest project, "Naughty With A Band", premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2018 and went on to tour festivals in England, Malta, and Australia, as well as having a pre-pandemic run at Vitello's in LA and the Westgate Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.
