Parmiss Sehat is a talented Iranian actor who was born and raised in Vancouver. From a young age, she knew she wanted to pursue a career in acting, inspired by Jim Carrey's iconic performance in The Grinch at just six years old.
Sehat's passion for acting has been evident throughout her life, with her intense facial expressions being honed since she was a child. She went on to receive her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre from the University of British Columbia, after which she began working extensively across Canada and internationally.
Throughout her career, Parmiss Sehat has received numerous accolades, including the Jessie Award for her outstanding performances. Her impressive repertoire includes a wide range of roles, from classical theatre with Bard on the Beach to more unconventional projects such as clown videos and international feature films.
In 2022, Sehat starred in the globally touring Canadian feature film, Golden Delicious, and more recently, she led the international feature Cast Aside the Clouds, which was filmed in Athens and set in Iran, featuring an international cast.
In addition to her work in film and television, Parmiss Sehat has also made appearances in popular shows such as The Good Doctor, The Midnight Club, Designated Survivor, The 100, and a variety of Hallmark and indie productions.
