Pascal Franchot's life has been deeply rooted in the film industry, with his family's rich history in the business dating back three generations. His mother, Jill Andre, is an actress, and his father, Richard Franchot, is a filmmaker. Notably, his grandmother, Ellen Lowe, was involved in the production of Citizen Kane, and his cousin, Franchot Tone, was a renowned movie star, having appeared in Mutiny on the Bounty.
With over 25 years of experience in the industry, Pascal has established himself as an award-winning filmmaker, directing, writing, and producing a wide range of feature films, TV shows, and commercials. After graduating from film school in New York, he began his career by directing commercials and music videos, before transitioning to film and television. During his career, he has worked with numerous prominent networks, including ABC, Bravo, CNN, Discovery, Fox TV, Google, History Channel, MTV, National Geographic, and many others.
Pascal joined the Directors Guild of America in 2007 and has had the opportunity to collaborate with numerous notable actors and musicians, including Charlize Theron, Leonardo DiCaprio, Gisele Bunchen, Naomi Watts, James Earl Jones, Pierce Brosnan, Gillian Jacobs, Tom Arnold, John Malkovich, Little Richard, Ottmar Liebert, and Carlos Santana, to name a few.
Through his production company, Fastback Pictures, Pascal has directed and produced a number of projects, including the horror film "Milo" and the teen drama/thriller "Triple Dog", starring Brittany Robertson, Scout Taylor-Compton, and Nolan Funk. He also produced "Gardens of the Night", starring Gillian Jacobs, Evan Ross, Tom Arnold, and John Malkovich. Currently, Fastback Pictures is in development on the female-driven sci-fi action film and TV series "Rider" and the action thriller "Scarlet".
