Patrice Rohmer, a captivating and curvaceous blonde actress, briefly shone bright in the 1970s drive-in film scene, leaving an indelible mark on the handful of campy and trashy movies she appeared in. Her radiant presence and energetic performances made each of her roles a memorable one.
Rohmer's film career began with a one-night stand in the 1974 film "Harrad Summer". She then took on the role of a groupie in Brian De Palma's horror rock comedy musical "Phantom of the Paradise" (1974),showcasing her uninhibited and engaging on-screen presence.
In 1975, Rohmer appeared as a stripper in Robert Aldrich's gritty police mystery thriller "Hustle", using her baby-voiced charm to bring depth to her vacuous character.
However, it was her role as Sesame, one of the lead characters in the raunchy and ridiculous drive-in exploitation film "Revenge of the Cheerleaders" (1975),that remains her most substantial and memorable performance to date.
Rohmer also contributed a solid, if minor, performance as Cassie Anne, the spiteful and jealous ex-girlfriend of criminal Tommy Lee Jones, in the redneck action romp "Jackson County Jail" (1976).
Tragically, Rohmer's acting career came to an abrupt halt in the mid-1970s, leaving behind a legacy of memorable performances in the trashy and campy films of the era.
