Patricia Mizen is a talented and accomplished actress, renowned for her captivating performances and exceptional acting skills. Born on the picturesque island of Okinawa, Patricia's upbringing as a military brat exposed her to a diverse cultural heritage, blending Finnish, English, and Korean influences. Her childhood and adolescent years were marked by extensive travel, with her family relocating to approximately twelve different locations within and outside the United States.
This cosmopolitan upbringing instilled in Patricia an extraordinary ability to adapt to new environments and situations, a trait that has served her well in her acting career. As a young girl, Patricia's passion for making a positive impact in the world was evident, as she won a pageant in the 8th grade and went on to pursue her love for the arts.
Patricia's early introduction to acting came in high school, where she took her first acting class and discovered a natural talent for the craft. Her skills were further honed through her participation in the Dramatic Interpretation Category in Forensics, where she won her first competition with a stunning rendition of Eugene O'Neil's "Morning Becomes Electra."
Throughout her career, Patricia has had the opportunity to showcase her talents on stage, taking on leading roles in productions such as "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof," "An Evening of Culture," and "Drop Dead." Her acting technique is rooted in the Sanford Meisner method, which she studied at The Actors Workshop Theater Training Institute in Boston, Massachusetts, and with renowned acting coach Robert Carnegie at Playhouse West in Los Angeles.
In addition to her stage work, Patricia has also honed her skills in film and television, completing the Professional Program: Acting for the Camera at UCLA. She is a proud member of SAG-AFTRA, the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (ATAS),and The Sky Pilot Theatre Company in Los Angeles, demonstrating her commitment to her craft and her dedication to the entertainment industry.
