Patricia Anne Stratigeas, better known as Trish Stratus, is a renowned former wrestler for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). Prior to her successful career in professional wrestling, she attended York University in Toronto, Canada, where she studied Biology and Kinesiology. However, when the professors went on strike, she took a job as a receptionist at a local fitness club, which led to her discovery as a fitness model.
Her success as a fitness model caught the attention of a WWE talent official, who offered her a contract. She signed with the WWE and made her debut in March 19, 2000, on WWF Sunday Night Heat #86, where she formed the tag team T & A with Test and Albert. She also became the manager of then-WWE Intercontinental Champion Val Venis.
Trish Stratus is highly regarded as a self-proclaimed WWE Diva, with numerous accomplishments, including being voted Internet Babe of the Year for three consecutive years, winning the "Diva of the Decade" award, and gracing the cover of WWE Divas Magazine four times. She holds the record for being the only woman in WWE history to win the WWE Women's Championship seven times.
On September 17, 2006, she officially retired from professional wrestling after a successful 7-year career. She made occasional appearances on WWE Raw, including special anniversary episodes, to wrestle, guest-host, or make televised appearances. She participated in WrestleMania XXVII in 2011 and was later inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2013.
After her retirement, she toured with her best friend Lita on convention tours, and they individually participated in the main event all women's WWE Royal Rumble in 2018. They also wrestled in a tag-team match at the all-female pay-per-view WWE Evolution.
