Patricia Ann Pease, professionally known as Patsy Pease, was born in Charlotte, North Carolina, and later attended the University of North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston Salem, North Carolina, where she pursued a four-year bachelor's program. During her time at the university, she also studied and taught Jazz dance, and was awarded a Theater scholarship for her junior and senior years.
Pease's early career in New York City began with a role in the 1979 cult film "He Knows You're Alone" directed by Armand Mastroianni. She soon landed the role of Cissie Mitchell, a country western vixen, on the soap opera "Search For Tomorrow" from 1979 to 1982.
In 1983, Pease relocated to Los Angeles and appeared in Roger Corman's "Space Raiders" as Amanda, a space age gunslinger. The following year, she debuted as Kimberly Brady on the popular soap opera "Days of Our Lives." Her impressive performance earned her several awards and nominations, including "Best Actress" in the Soap Opera Digest Awards in 1986 and the "Best Super Couple Award" the same year with Charles Shaughnessy. She was also nominated for "Best Actress" in 1988 and won "Best Super Couple" again the same year.
After leaving her contract with NBC in 1993 to raise her two sons, Pease continued to make guest appearances on "Days of Our Lives" until 2015. During this time, she also worked on four films: "Two Shades Of Blue," "Improper Conduct," "Total Reality," and "Drop Dead Gorgeous." Additionally, she took on recurring roles on "Young and the Restless" as Patrice Fennel and Lola Baker on "The Bay The Series."
In 2015, Pease was nominated for an ISA award for Best Guest Actress in a Drama Series for her role in "The Bay" directed and created by Gregori Martin. Moreover, she is an accredited teacher for the American Film Institute and S.A.G. Conservatory.
