Born in the charming city of Rome, New York, a place where he spent his formative years and ultimately graduated from Rome Catholic High School in 1972, a milestone that marked the beginning of his academic journey. Paul's pursuit of knowledge led him to Boston's Northeastern College, where he earned a bachelor's degree with a major in drama and the arts, a field that would ultimately become the foundation of his professional career. As a talented performer, Paul appeared on the esteemed stages of Broadway, captivating audiences with his remarkable talent, as well as in film and television, leaving a lasting impression on the entertainment industry. One of his most notable achievements was being part of the original Broadway cast of 'Torch Song Trilogy', a role that he reprised in the film adaptation, showcasing his versatility and range as an actor. Paul's personal life was filled with loved ones, including his two brothers, Bill and Jim, who resided on the East Coast. Despite facing personal struggles, Paul remained a beacon of hope and inspiration to those who knew him, a testament to his strength and resilience. Sadly, on August 6, 2001, Paul succumbed to a long battle with depression and addiction, a loss that was deeply felt by all who knew and loved him. Despite his struggles, Paul remained a shining light, and his legacy continues to inspire and motivate those who had the privilege of knowing him.
