Paul's profound enthusiasm for the art of filmmaking initially ignited at a remarkably young age of eight, when he was captivated by the behind-the-scenes footage of "The Making of 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea", thereby setting in motion a lifelong aspiration to craft mesmerizing cinematic experiences. This early spark of inspiration served as the catalyst for him to commence creating his own films, and by the time he had reached the milestone age of 18, his impressive 16mm, 30-minute action-packed short film "Trapped" had garnered widespread acclaim and taken top honors at the esteemed Berkeley Film Festival.

Paul's academic journey began at San Francisco State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film Production. This marked the starting point of his illustrious career in the film industry. Following his graduation, Paul made the bold decision to serve in the United States Air Force (USAF),where he had the unique opportunity to film space launches for NASA. This remarkable experience had a profound impact on his development as a filmmaker and laid the groundwork for his debut feature film, "The Tournament". Shot in the esteemed 35mm Techniscope format, this cinematic masterpiece tells the captivating story of three samurai who embark on a thrilling adventure to England to participate in a prestigious fencing tournament.

Paul, a multifaceted individual with a passion for the cinematic arts, took on a supporting role in the Blu-ray edition of his own film, "Ninja Busters", allowing him to refine his skills further.

Undeterred by his minor on-screen presence, Paul went on to showcase his creative prowess by penning and helming the action-packed feature "Death Machines", which was subsequently picked up by Crown International Pictures for distribution.

This ambitious project, which premiered in a select 50 theaters across Southern California, marked a significant milestone in Paul's burgeoning career as a writer-director.
