Paul Shoulberg is a writer and director who has made a name for himself in the film industry with his latest feature, Ms. White Light, which premiered at the 2019 SXSW Film Festival and is set to be released in the fall of that same year.
Ms. White Light stars a talented cast, including Judith Light, John Ortiz, and Roberta Colindrez, and marks a significant milestone in Shoulberg's career as a writer and director.
In addition to his work on Ms. White Light, Shoulberg has also written and directed The Good Catholic, a feature film that has garnered critical acclaim and numerous awards.
The Good Catholic stars Danny Glover and John C. McGinley, and won the Panavision Spirit Award for Independent Cinema at the 2017 Santa Barbara International Film Festival, as well as the Best Screenplay award at the 2017 Milan International Film Festival.
Shoulberg's feature film, Walter, boasts an impressive cast, including academy award-nominated actors William H. Macy and Virginia Madsen, as well as Justin Kirk, Neve Campbell, Milo Ventimiglia, and Jim Gaffigan.
In addition to his work in film, Shoulberg has also made a name for himself in the world of theater. His play, REEL, won the Kennedy Center Mark Twain Prize for best student comedy in 2006.
Shoulberg holds an MFA in playwriting from Indiana University, which he earned in 2007. He also earned his BA in Theatre and Film from the University of Kansas in 2004.
