Paul Williams is a multifaceted creative force, excelling as both a writer and director, and co-founding the innovative production company, Evil Hypnotist Productions. His impressive filmmaking career took off with his second short film, 'Mightier', which garnered the prestigious 2001 Cinemagic Young Filmmaker of the Year Award.
Fast forward to the present, Paul's remarkable short film, 'The Furred Man', has achieved an astonishing level of success, winning an impressive 15 international film awards. This critically acclaimed film has also been officially selected in a staggering 45 film festivals worldwide, and has even been broadcast on Channel 4 in the UK.
In addition to his narrative projects, Paul has honed his skills as a freelance filmmaker, collaborating with a diverse range of arts organisations and companies. These include the renowned children's theatre company, Oily Cart, the London Science Museum, Lyric Theatre Hammersmith, and Discover Children's Story Centre. Paul has also had the opportunity to work on educational projects, guiding budding filmmakers from script to screen.
