Pauline Curley's journey in the entertainment industry began at the tender age of five, when she started acting alongside her mother, an actress herself, in vaudeville performances. This early exposure to the stage ultimately led to her entry into the world of cinema, with her first film role emerging in 1913.
Throughout her 16-year-long film career, Curley never quite reached the pinnacle of stardom, nor even the middle ranks, despite showcasing her talent in a few well-received serials for Vitagraph. One notable appearance was in the popular swashbuckler "Bound in Morocco" (1918),starring the renowned Douglas Fairbanks. However, she failed to capitalize on this success, soon finding herself relegated to low-budget, two-reel westerns alongside Leo D. Maloney and Jack Perrin.
As the years went by, the quality of her films decreased, and her roles became increasingly smaller. By 1929, the year of her final known film, "The Locked Door" (1929),in which she had an unbilled bit part, Curley had seemingly abandoned the industry altogether.
In her personal life, Curley was married to cinematographer Kenneth Peach from 1922 until his passing in 1988. The couple's two children, Kenneth Peach Jr. and Martin Peach, followed in their parents' footsteps, with Kenneth Jr. becoming a cinematographer and Martin working as a key grip.
Pauline Curley's life came to a close in 2000, at the age of 96, in Santa Monica, California.
