Pedro González is a multifaceted creative force in the Latin-American film industry, boasting a diverse range of skills that have contributed to some of the most significant and acclaimed films of the past two decades. As a musician, his work has been showcased in feature films such as "Güeros", "Semana Santa", "Voy a Explotar", and "Edén", demonstrating his versatility and talent.
Beyond his work as a musician, González has also made a significant impact as a sound designer, elevating the audio components of these films to new heights. His expertise has also been showcased in various animated short films, many of which have received multi-awarded recognition. Additionally, he has directed and produced several experimental feature films, including "Se me Hizo Fácil", which further highlights his range and creative vision.
In 2017, González co-founded Little Hour Films, an animation studio that specializes in stop-motion and hand-made techniques, alongside renowned animator and production designer Lauri Faggioni and visual effects supervisor Javier Velásquez. This studio has allowed him to bring his unique creative vision to life, producing a range of innovative and captivating animated content.
As part of the script-writing co-op "La Bella Sobriedad", González has collaborated with other industry professionals to support a range of projects, including "Todas las Pecas", "Dramamex", "Semana Santa", and "El Lenguaje de los Machetes", among others. He has also written scripts for both art-house and commercial films in collaboration with other talented writers and directors, such as Yibran Asuad, Alejandra Márquez, and Eduardo Donjuan.
