Perri, a talented individual with a rich history in the performing arts, graduated from James Cook University's esteemed Performing Arts program. Her journey began with Tropic Line Theatre Company, where she worked alongside the renowned Jean Pierre Voos as a founding member for over six years.
During her time with the company, Perri had the privilege of meeting the cellist for the original production of The Elephant Man, while performing in the same play. She also had the opportunity to walk on stage as Jean Harlow in the provocative play The Beard, and to evoke powerful emotions as Cassandra in Agamemnon, standing on the back of a human chariot.
Perri's experience with Tropic Line extended beyond her work with the company, as she collaborated with numerous national organizations, including Dance North and Tas Dance, under the direction of the accomplished Richard Allen and Karen Pearlman. Upon relocating to Melbourne, Perri founded Gorgeous Productions, taking on various roles in productions such as The Beard, Futz, Francis Kiss, Vagabonds, Last Post, and Report to the Academy, an adaptation of Kafka's short story.
Perri's Shakespearean repertoire is equally impressive, with performances for the Australian Shakespeare Company and Ozact, where she played Cordelia/Fool in King Lear, Hermia/First Fairy/Wall in A Midsummer Night's Dream, and Head Witch/Lady Macduff in Macbeth. Her portrayal of Mole in The Wind in the Willows, complete with furry pants, showcased her versatility as an actress.
In addition to her stage work, Perri has made television appearances, including a memorable guest role in Neighbours, where she played her own brother's sister. She has also been writing for the show since studying screenwriting at RMIT. Perri is currently working on several projects in development, solidifying her position as a talented and multifaceted artist.
