Pete grew up in Oregon, surrounded by the scenic beauty of Portland and Salem, with his two younger sisters, spending most of his formative years on a small farm in Aumsville, Oregon. His early life was marked by a strong sense of community and a connection to the natural world. As he entered his teenage years, Pete attended Cascade High School, where he excelled academically and began to develop his passion for the performing arts.
During his time at USC in Los Angeles, Pete was exposed to the world of acting once again, but due to his demanding course load of engineering, military ROTC commitments, and work, he was unable to pursue it with the seriousness it deserved. Despite this, Pete remained dedicated to his studies, graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering.
Pete's military career was marked by a sense of duty and service, as he flew a variety of aircraft, including the B-52, B-1, EF-111, and EA-6B. After leaving the military, he transitioned into a career in the aerospace industry, working for various companies in the US and Europe, with a focus on space-related projects.
It was during a business trip that Pete was reintroduced to the world of acting, and the spark that had been dormant for so long was rekindled. Upon his return to LA, Pete began to pursue acting with renewed dedication, and his hard work and perseverance soon paid off. He set his sights on achieving success in national commercials, feature films, TV show pilots, and co-star/guest star roles, and was able to achieve many of his goals.
Today, Pete continues to work on a wide range of acting projects, and has also found success as a writer and producer. In 2015, he was selected as one of the first Commercial Space Astronauts, supporting a suborbital research program known as Project Possum. Pete is scheduled to embark on a sub-orbital spaceflight later in 2017, a testament to his unwavering curiosity and sense of adventure.
