Petra Černocká, a Czech singer and actress, was born on November 24, 1949, in Prague. She is the sister of disc jockey Pavel Černocký and cousin of Vlastimil Brodský.
Černocká's early life was marked by a passion for music and the performing arts. She studied opera singing and piano at the conservatory and went on to join the group The Shepherds of Petr Hannig. Her subsequent appearances in various theater productions, including the legendary play "Besídka v rašeliništi" in the Semafor Theater, showcased her impressive range as a performer.
As an actress, Černocká has appeared in numerous Slovak television programs and films. One of her most notable roles was that of the young witch Saxana in the film "Saxana," which was based on a screenplay by Miloš Macourek and directed by Václav Vorlíček. She reprised this role in the 2011 film "Saxan and the Lexicon of Magic," again directed by Vorlíček.
In addition to her work in film and television, Černocká has also enjoyed a successful career as a singer. For many years, she performed with the group Cardinals of Zdeněk Merta, and is currently performing with her husband Jiří Pracný. Since January 2014, she has also been the presenter of the program "Twelve in Twelve" on Dvojka Czech Radio.
Černocká's personal life is also marked by a strong connection to music. Her daughter, Barbora Vaculíková, is a singer in the group Yellow Sisters.
In 1999, Černocká was involved in a dispute with Czech Television over a segment on the show "Čtvrtníček, Šteindler and Vávra" that falsely portrayed her as a porn actress. The television network was forced to apologize and pay 50,000 crowns in damages and 11,875 crowns in court costs.
