Phillip Geoffrey Targett-Adams, professionally known as Phil Manzanera, is a multifaceted English artist, born on January 31, 1951.
As a guitarist, songwriter, and record producer, Manzanera has made a significant impact in the music industry.
He is the lead guitarist of the iconic British rock band Roxy Music, and has also held the same position in 801 and Quiet Sun.
In 2006, Manzanera collaborated as a co-producer on David Gilmour's album, On an Island, and went on to perform with Gilmour's band during tours in Europe and North America.
Furthermore, Manzanera has demonstrated his passion for music by writing and presenting a series of 14 one-hour radio programs for Planet Rock, titled The A-Z of Great Guitarists.
