Phil Parker is a renowned screenwriter and leading freelance development consultant, boasting an impressive portfolio of feature film credits across China, Czechia, and the UK. His notable credits include 'El Greco', 'Manou the Swift', 'Gentle Jacko', and 'Hockey King'.
As one of Europe's most distinguished independent development consultants, Phil has successfully run his training and development consultancy, pH Screenplay, for over thirty years. His esteemed client list includes Aardmann Animation, BBC, C4, CEE Animation, and numerous independent producers and screenwriters. Phil's impressive projects include the Oscar and Bafta-winning Wallace and Gromit - Curse of the Ware Rabbit; the multi-award-winning 'The Pearce Sisters'; and 'Terry Prachett's Hogfather'.
In 1994, Phil founded the MA Screenwriting course at LCP, now part of the University of the Arts, London. The course has yielded an impressive array of graduates, who have gone on to win a Palme D'Or, numerous Baftas, and festival awards, as well as receive Oscar nominations.
Phil's publishing credits include 'The Art and Science of Screenwriting', which was later translated into German and Spanish, in 1997.
In 2000, he founded the UK's Film Council's training and Development operation.
In 2006, Phil founded NyAC, a UK Indie film production company, with the goal of creating a series of original, feature films.
