Philippa, a renowned Canadian theatre and film actor, as well as a skilled choreographer, has made a significant impact in the entertainment industry. Born in Montreal, Quebec, to a remarkable family, her mother, Doctor Joan Keefler, is a marital and family therapist, while her father, James de B. Domville, was an arts administrator who played a pivotal role in the growth of Canadian theatre and film. His accomplishments include co-founding The National Theatre School of Canada and serving as the director general of the National Film Board.
Philippa's educational background is equally impressive, with an Award of Honour from Westmount High School, a Bachelor of Arts degree from Acadia University, and a graduation from The National Theatre School. Throughout her career, she has worked in numerous theatres across Canada, including the prestigious Stratford and Shaw Festivals. Philippa has also originated roles in over fifteen new Canadian plays, including Margaret Atwood's Penelopiad.
In addition to her work on stage, Philippa has choreographed for several productions, including those at the Stratford Festival and The Grand Theatre, as well as her own company, Petit Jeu. Her film credits include the Toronto Indie Production It All Happens Incredibly Fast (2002),and more recently, she played the role of Martha in the USA network production of Damnation (2017).
