Phillip, a talented individual, was born and raised in San Jose, California, specifically in the east side neighborhood of Alum Rock. He completed his high school education and subsequently moved to Los Angeles to pursue his passion for acting.
Phillip enrolled in The American Musical and Dramatic Academy, where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in acting with a minor emphasis in Musical Theater. This education has undoubtedly contributed to his impressive acting career.
Phillip has been entertaining audiences across the United States with his hilarious portrayal of Rooster in the new comedy series "Sprung" on Amazon Freevee. His television credits include a wide range of popular shows such as "Mayans M.C.," "Scandal," "The Rookie," "Station 19," "Animal Kingdom," "Criminal Minds," "CSI: Las Vegas," "NCIS: Los Angeles," "S.W.A.T.," "Telenovela," and "Chicago P.D."
Phillip's film credits include the Hollywood blockbuster film Terminator: Dark Fate and Netflix's hit Korean film OKJA. In addition to his on-screen work, Phillip has appeared in four Super Bowl TV spots, including commercials for McDonald's, Anheuser-Busch, Meta, and Salesforce.
When he is not busy with his acting career or stage performances, Phillip enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter in Los Angeles. He is an avid golfer and a huge fan of Bay Area sports teams, including the San Francisco 49ers, San Francisco Giants, and San Jose Sharks.
Phillip is extremely proud of his Chicano heritage and is committed to getting more involved with his community and culture.
