Pjer Žalica, a renowned Bosnian filmmaker, was born on May 7th, 1964. As a multifaceted individual, he not only excels in the film industry but also serves as a professor at the prestigious Academy of Performing Arts in Sarajevo.

Žalica's family background is marked by a rich cultural heritage, with his father, Miodrag, being a notable dramaturgist and poet who scripted several TV movies during his lifetime, spanning from 1926 to 1992.

Throughout his illustrious career, Žalica has directed a variety of films, including several short films and three feature films, with the notable titles being "Gori vatra" in 2003 and "Kod amidže Idriza" in 2004.
