Polly Cole is a multifaceted artist whose creative pursuits are deeply rooted in a passion for performance, photography, design, and music. The art of filmmaking, which combines these interests, naturally evolved from her previous experiences in acting and photography.
Polly's educational background in film and theater at Vassar College and the Oxford School of Drama laid the foundation for her future endeavors. Throughout her academic journey, she was inseparable from the camera her mother, Jane, had gifted her as a high school graduation present. Jane, a talented pianist and painter, sadly passed away at a young age due to breast cancer, shortly after presenting Polly with the camera.
After completing her education, Polly seamlessly transitioned between acting and photography, honing her skills in both fields. She appeared in various theater, television, and film roles while also having her editorial photographs featured in prominent magazines and newspapers.
Polly's desire to merge her passions culminated in the creation of her first film, a short titled 'Normal', released in 2021. As of 2022, she is actively conceptualizing a feature film to follow, exploring new ideas and refining her craft.
