Praneet Bhat is a renowned Indian television actor, widely recognized for his captivating portrayal of Shakuni in the epic television series Mahabharat, which aired from 2013 to 2014.
Prior to his foray into the entertainment industry, Bhat earned a degree in engineering and subsequently worked for the esteemed software company, Wipro. However, his passion for acting eventually led him to shift his focus towards the television industry.
In 2002, Bhat relocated to Mumbai, where he began his modelling career, which ultimately paved the way for his television debut in 2004. He went on to appear in various television programs, including Kitni Mast Hai Zindagi, Hotel Kingston, Kituu Sabb Jaantii Hai, Shhh..Phir Koi Hai, and Kaajjal.
In 2010, Bhat landed the role of Aditya, a geeky character, in the popular television series Geet, which he portrayed until 2011. His most notable role, however, remains that of Shakuni in the mythological saga Mahabharat.
