Rachel Annette Helson is a New York City-based Director represented by Buchwald, renowned for crafting stories about women who defy conventions and take bold risks. As a seasoned filmmaker, she has helmed numerous projects, including her fourth feature film, an adaptation of the bestselling novel "The Air He Breathes" by Brittainy C. Cherry, which garnered widespread acclaim from critics and audiences alike for its masterful book-to-screen translation.
Her short film "Good Daughter", starring Samantha Sloyan, qualified for the 2025 Academy Awards in the Best Live Action Shorts category, earning a spot on the Contending's Shortlist predictions list.
