Rachel Boston was born and raised in Signal Mountain, Tennessee, where she spent her formative years developing a passion for the performing arts. At the tender age of 17, she made the bold decision to leave her hometown behind and embark on an acting career in the city that never sleeps - New York City. Just two years later, at the age of 19, Boston packed up her bags and headed to the West Coast, where she began filming NBC's critically acclaimed television series, American Dreams, in 2002.
Boston's impressive talent was soon recognized, as she received numerous accolades for her standout performance in the independent feature film, The Pill, released in 2011. Her portrayal of Mindy earned her the prestigious Stargazer Award for the most talented emerging actress at the Gen Art Film Festival in New York City, as well as the Best Actress Award from the San Diego Film Festival and the Emerging Artist Award from the Big Apple Film Festival. The film itself also took home the Gen Art Film Festival Audience Award.
Boston's impressive resume boasts a range of notable roles, including her appearance alongside Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Zooey Deschanel in the Golden Globe-nominated film, 500 Days of Summer, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and went on to win an Independent Spirit Award for Best Screenplay. She also co-starred alongside Matthew McConaughey and Jennifer Garner in the romantic comedy, Ghosts of Girlfriends Past, released in 2009.
In addition to her film work, Boston has also made a significant impact on the small screen. She starred as Ingrid Beauchamp in the television series, Witches of East End, which aired from 2013 to 2014. Prior to this, she had already established herself as a talented television actress, starring on the USA series In Plain Sight and the CBS series The Ex List, both in 2008. Boston has also made notable guest appearances on a range of popular television shows, including Grey's Anatomy, Curb Your Enthusiasm, ER, NCIS, Rules of Engagement, and Mad Love.
