She has garnered widespread recognition and accolades for her work, including the direction of the critically acclaimed film "Muted", which features Chandra Wilson and Malcolm-Jamal Warner and was acquired by HBO.
Throughout her illustrious career, Rachel has been fortunate to receive support from prestigious programs and initiatives, including the Sony Pictures Television Directors Program, We for She's Direct Her program, AFI's Directing Workshop for Women, Film Independent's Project: Involve, Film Independent's Screenwriting Lab, and the FOX Global Directing Initiative.
Rachel's extensive body of work comprises over 40 productions for stage and screen, with her films and plays being hailed as "poetry in motion" by the LA Weekly and "stunning" by the LA Stage Scene. Her impressive résumé boasts over 20 awards and accolades for her work in film and theater.
One of the highlights of Rachel's career was her participation in AFI's prestigious Directing Workshop for Women, where she directed and co-wrote the award-winning film "Neighbors", starring Kelli Garner and Edi Gathegi. This project was later developed into the feature screenplay "Transformation Awaits", penned by Rachel Goldberg and Jonathan Pope Evans.
