Rachel Khan, a multilingual and multicultural individual, was born in 1976 to a Gambian father who worked as a university English teacher and a French mother of Polish Jewish origin who worked as a bookseller. This unique blend of cultures would later influence her pursuits and passions.
As a high-achieving athlete, Khan was a French champion in the 60 meters indoor and vice-champion of France in the 80 meters. Her impressive athletic skills even earned her a spot on the French team in 1993, and she went on to win the French 4x100-meter championship in 1995.
In addition to her athletic accomplishments, Khan is also a highly educated individual. She holds a DESS in human rights and humanitarian law from Assas and a DEA in international law from Paris II. After completing her education, she joined Jean-Paul Huchon's office as a cultural advisor in 2009, where she utilized her knowledge and skills to contribute to the development of cultural initiatives.
