Rafael Sardina's passion for storytelling began at a tender age, as he would often immerse himself in the fantastical worlds of his favorite childhood films, such as Swiss Family Robinson, E.T., and The Karate Kid, as well as the animated adventures of M.A.S.K and G.I.JOE, and the captivating plays of Nuestro Teatro, a renowned theater company in his native Puerto Rico.
Throughout his illustrious career, Rafael has had the extraordinary privilege of collaborating with some of his personal idols, including the illustrious Steven Spielberg, the accomplished Jodie Foster, the talented Dylan Baker, and the versatile Vincent D'Onofrio, among many other notable industry professionals.
One particularly memorable experience for Rafael was the opportunity to ride the morning pass van from Manhattan to New Jersey with fellow actors Amy Ryan and Lenny Venito, as they approached the sprawling set of a Spielberg movie, an experience that left him feeling utterly starstruck and grateful.
Today, Rafael resides in Queens, New York with his loving wife Rachel and their daughter Teresa, a young film enthusiast who shares his passion for cinema, and whose favorite movie, fittingly, is the iconic The Karate Kid.
