Biography

Rajesh Joshi was a renowned Indian cinematographer who left an indelible mark on the Indian film industry. As an alumnus of the prestigious Film and Television Institute of India in Pune, he was well-equipped to tackle a wide range of cinematic projects.

Throughout his illustrious career, Joshi's credits included some of the most critically acclaimed films of the time. One of his earliest and most notable works was Ghasiram Kotwal (1976),a film directed by the esteemed K Hariharan, Mani Kaul, Saeed Akhtar Mirza, and Kamal Swaroop.

In addition to his work in feature films, Joshi also made significant contributions to the world of television. His collaboration with Sudhir Mishra on the 1988 film Main Zinda Hoon is a testament to his versatility and adaptability as a cinematographer.

Another notable achievement of Joshi's was his work on the television film In Which Annie Gives It Those Ones (1989),directed by the talented Pradip Krishen. This project showcased his ability to excel in a variety of genres and formats, cementing his status as a master of his craft.
