Born with a passion for the art of film directing, she embarked on a journey to hone her skills by graduating from the prestigious Faculty of Dramatic Arts. The year was 1973, and she was eager to start her career in the industry. Her first steps were taken at the Iranian TV, where she began as a continuity girl and assistant director, laying the foundation for her future success.
As her experience and confidence grew, she turned her attention to creating short documentaries, showcasing her versatility and creative flair. The stage was set for her to make her mark in the world of feature filmmaking, and she did just that with the release of her first picture, 'Kharej az Mahdudeh', in 1986. This marked the beginning of a remarkable journey, with her next films being 'Zard-e Ghanari' in 1988, 'Pul-e Khareji' in 1989, 'Nargess' in 1992, and 'Rusari Abi' in 1995.
