Ralph Stanley

Dr. Ralph Edmond Stanley, Senior, a remarkable individual, was born on February 25, 1927, in Big Spraddle Creek, Virginia, a picturesque location situated near Stratton in Dickenson County, Virginia. He was the offspring of Lucy and Lee Stanley, and his upbringing was deeply rooted in the rich cultural heritage of Southwestern Virginia. Throughout his life, Ralph has been blessed with a loving family, including his devoted wife, Jimmi, and their three children, Lisa, Tonya, and Ralph Stanley, II.
