Ramír Delgado was born in the vibrant city of San Juan, Puerto Rico, where he embodies the rich cultural heritage of Puerto Rican Spanish and neo-latino roots. His journey in the entertainment industry began in 2005, with a humble start that would eventually lead to a successful career.
After a college test mishap, Delgado stumbled upon an audition for a low-budget zombie film, and to his surprise, he landed a part just two weeks later. This breakthrough role marked the beginning of a series of auditions and background work, which ultimately led to training in film production and theater arts.
Fast-forward four years, Delgado found himself as the lead in a high-profile campaign for AXE Hair, airing in Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, and Mexico. This commercial success coincided with his graduation from the School of Mass Communications and Drama, and he soon landed a spot at IMTA Los Angeles 2010, where he won 1st Place in the T7 SITCOM Category.
This achievement earned him callbacks from top talent agencies and the New York Film Academy, prompting Delgado to take his training to the next level. After three intense years of honing his craft in Los Angeles, he returned to Puerto Rico, driven by his ambition to become a character actor.
Delgado's extensive experience spans TV and film, with a chameleon-like ability to transform into various characters, from paparazzi to doctors, construction workers, professors, corrupt cops, and more. His versatility has earned him the nickname "the chameleon" among fans.
In addition to his dramatic roles, Delgado has also showcased his comedic side in commercials, effortlessly switching between American, British, and Spanish accents. He has even lent his voice to dubbing projects in both languages.
Throughout his career, Delgado has worked with renowned actors such as Johnny Depp, Benicio del Toro, Nathalie Kelley, Danny McBride, and Deep Roy, among others. He has also been the lead in numerous TV commercials for prominent brands like Walmart, Burger King, Tums, Ariel Pods, Antilles Insurance, and Puma Energy.
Delgado's film credits include notable projects such as Vico C, Crime Waves, Baker & the Beauty, and Hindrance "Pride & Bounty. He has been nominated for Best Actor twice for his role in the film Bittersweet, and his short films have won awards at international film festivals.
