Ransom Ashley, a multifaceted creative force, hails from Shreveport, Louisiana. This talented individual's artistic journey began at Parsons The New School for Design in New York City, where he honed his photography skills and concurrently pursued a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.
Ashley's photography has been showcased globally, with exhibitions in prominent cities such as New York, London, Brighton, and Budapest. His work has also been featured in esteemed institutions, including the New Britain Museum of American Art, Fort Wayne Museum of Art, and Masur Museum of Art, to name a few.
Beyond his photography, Ashley has made appearances in notable publications like Teen Vogue, Deadline, Wonderland Magazine, Metal Magazine, and Dazed and Confused Magazine. His dedication to his craft has earned him recognition and accolades within the industry.
As of 2024, Ashley is actively working on a thought-provoking body of work that explores queer identities in the Southern United States. He is also the creative director for two innovative projects he founded: Son of Rand, an Austin-based design studio and shop, and SENSEUM, an experimental fragrance studio.
