Rasmus Botoft, a talented individual, was born on January 5, 1972, in Amager, Copenhagen, Denmark. He now resides with his wife, the accomplished actress Lisbeth Wulff, in the vibrant city of Copenhagen.
Following his graduation from Aarhus Theatre School in 1999, Rasmus joined the esteemed ensemble at the Royal Danish Theatre. However, he later transitioned to pursue a career in television, film, and radio.
In collaboration with his friend and colleague Martin Buch, Rasmus co-created the popular radio show 'The Cavalry' for the Danish Broadcast Corporation, DR. The show's immense success led to its adaptation into live performances, and subsequently, it was transformed into a television series, also titled 'The Cavalry', in 2010.
Alongside Martin Buch and director Peter Harton, Rasmus was involved in writing and playing various roles throughout the two critically acclaimed seasons of 'The Cavalry', which ultimately won the prestigious Danish Academy Award for 'Best Short Format Television Show'.
